Bhedetar is a small hill station located at eastern region of Nepal. It is popular among the tourist due to good facilites in Bhedetar. It is 1,420 meters high from the sea level. Bhedetar is a small village in the Koshi Zone of Eastern Nepal. Bhedetar is famous for it's cold vegetation and it's iconic view. We can see entire Dharan from Bhedetar. Generally the local peoples tired from the sunny days love to visit the Bhedetar to escape the summer heat. Bhedetar is always covered from the fog.




Bhedetar name given to that place by tourist themselves because there are many sheep (Nepali:- Bheda).So they called this place Bhedetar. We can see beautiful Dharan from Bhedetar. The forest covered from the Rhododendron is one of the attraction of this place. There is tower often called as "Charles Tower" from we can see entire Dharan and other mountains. We can view Char Kosh Jadi (one of the dense forest in Nepal), Saptakoshi River(One of the biggest river in Nepal), Dhankuta Bazaar.

We can reach to Bhedetar from Dharan. Bhedetar has 22.6 km distance from Dharan. From Dharan, we can easily reach Bhedetar by using local bus or we can reserve or book taxi or tempos. Fare in local bus to reach Bhedetar from Dharan is Rs.60 for single person  but we can charge upto Rs.1000 when we book or reserve taxi and other vechiles.
 It is the gateway or highway to reach places like Dhankuta, Chaubise, RajaRani and Okhare. Other famous place near Bhedetar is "Namaste Jharana". Namaste Jharna is a waterfall, it is about five kilometers away from the Bhedetar Bazaar. It can takes about 10 minutes to reach Namaste Jharana from Bhedetar, when we use vechiles. We can also walk to reach Namaste Jharana by walking on the main road, it takes about 30 minutes. But the path to reach the waterfall is difficult but you can forget all of your pain when you reach the waterfall. The beauty of waterfall will take your breath away. The view of waterfall and the sound of water, you will feel like you are in the heaven.
Bhedetar is developed tourist sector, where tourist come from different part of countries and people also comes from abroad to enjoy the beauty of nature. Most of the tourist came to Bhedetar to enjoy there vacations, holidays, spent good times with their families, relatives and their loved ones. Due to local participating in the tourism sector, local can gain good profit form tourism and many people are getting employment.
